Fig 1.1 Project Briefing by Mr Mike
✧ We were given a few choices during the first class on what sorts of project we'd like to take on. We were also informed that each group will have 6 members and only 2 graphic design students can be in the same group. After quickly forming a group with the students I knew of and worked with before. We picked our project topic as seen in Fig 1.2.

✧ We were the only group without any phsyical products or a list of products provided. Hence why we went online to search for our products after the 1st sit down meeting with Mr Damien in Mereka Space. Yi Qing & I went onto websites like Tao Bao, Ping duo duo to search for affordable yet beautiful products.

REFLECTION
I’d say this week is the most hectic week of all the weeks we spent on this project. And because I am the leader I had to run through a lot of things to ensure everything is as best as possible when we present it to the clients. After allocating the last tasks for everyone, I hopped on several zoom calls with Yiqing as we both sort out the graphic design portion of the project. We both also worked on compiling most of the slides and running them through to ensure the flow is nice and relevant. While on our zoom calls, I realised there were a few touchpoints we could add to further build up the brand and added them last minute. Amids compiling the final presentation deck, I reworded some of our earlier points to better suit the new direction and philosophy. Upon organising the user journey map portion of the slides, I saw the potential to create a section whereby we further drill in how Zeno could market themselves and labelled the section “Marketing Strategy”. A few weeks back I instructed my groupmates to research on influencers Zeno could possibly work with and included them under the influencer campaign list. Before the actual presentation day there were a few hiccups but we managed to push through and rehearsed twice to deliver our points as best as we can. Out of 4 groups, my group went first to present and I’d say going first definitely has more cons than pros. Immediately after getting the client’s feedback, I felt half of the burden was lifted out. The other half is the need to ensure my group has completed everything and inserted every material in for submission. In a sum, we went through all the ups and downs. From being confused about the general direction and not having any physical products as compared to other groups to having a silver lining and pushing through and finally getting to where we are now, having a somewhat real-ish brand. The overall work of the group was good and I personally am happy with the outcome despite how rushed we were.
